SA Education Hub (“we”, “us”, “our”, “the site”) is an independent information platform that helps South African students find institutions, bursaries, online courses and education news in one place, including through tools such as the APS Calculator. By using this website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. We are not an institution, funder, or course provider
SA Education Hub is not a university, TVET college, private college, bursary funder, or online course provider, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an agent of any institution, funder, or platform listed on this site unless explicitly stated. We aggregate and summarise publicly available information to help you compare options.
3. Accuracy of information
We make a genuine effort to source, verify and date information on this site, and we disclose our sources and “last verified” dates where possible. However, requirements, deadlines, fees and availability set by third-party institutions and funders change, sometimes without notice. Information on this site may be incomplete, out of date, or in a small number of cases incorrect. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of admission, funding, or any outcome. Always confirm current requirements, deadlines and application details directly on the relevant institution’s, funder’s or provider’s official website before making decisions or submitting applications.
A “Verified” status on SA Education Hub means that specified information has been checked against the sources identified by SA Education Hub. It does not mean that SA Education Hub accredits, registers, approves or endorses the institution.
4. Applications are not processed through this site
SA Education Hub does not process applications, enrolments, or bursary submissions. Where we provide an application link or official website link, you are leaving our site to apply directly with the relevant institution, funder or provider, under their own terms.
5. The APS Calculator
The APS Calculator provides an estimate using the scoring method explained on the calculator page. Institutions may use different admission-point calculations and programme-specific requirements.
Programme and institution matches shown by SA Education Hub are guidance based on published requirements available to us. A match does not guarantee admission. Students should always confirm current admission requirements directly with the institution before applying.
6. Third-party links and content
This site contains links to third-party websites, including government departments, institutions, funders, and online course platforms. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, availability, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk and subject to that site’s own terms.
7. Advertising and paid placement
This site may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense), which is subject to the advertiser’s own terms and privacy practices. Some institutions or providers may pay for “Featured” or “Sponsored” placement on this site. Featured or Sponsored status affects only where and how prominently a listing appears — it is never a statement about that institution’s accreditation, registration, or verification status, and does not imply our endorsement.
8. Intellectual property
The design, original written content, and the APS Calculator tool on this site are owned by SA Education Hub unless otherwise stated, and may not be copied or republished without permission. Institution names, logos, and trademarks referenced on this site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse this site — including attempting to disrupt its operation, scraping or bulk-copying its content without permission, or submitting false, abusive, or spam content through our contact or enquiry forms.
10. Limitation of liability
SA Education Hub provides educational information and guidance and makes reasonable efforts to keep information accurate and current. However, we cannot guarantee that all information will always be complete, accurate or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SA Education Hub will not be liable for losses arising solely from reliance on information on this site or from dealings with third-party institutions, funders or providers.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African law.
