Mnambithi TVET College was formed in 2002 through the merger of Ladysmith Technical College (which traces to the early 1960s as an adult self-enrichment education provider before expanding into formal N1-N6 training), Ezakheni Technical College, the Ezakheni Ex-College of Education and the Ezakheni Skills Centre. Headquartered in Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, it operates five campuses — Ladysmith (main office), Estcourt (added in 2009), and Ezakheni A, B and E — serving a wide midlands catchment including Bergville, Estcourt, Msinga, Pomeroy, Greytown and Mooi River.
