Founded in 1998 by Dr Marko Saravanja, Dr Penny Law and William Vivian, it has grown into a multi-school group comprising the Regenesys Business School, School of Public Management, School of Law and School of Technology, among other faculties. Regenesys is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a private higher education institution (registration number 2000/HE07/023), with its degree programmes accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registered with the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
