Engineering College of Science and Technology (ECST) was founded in October 2022 and is based in Midrand, Gauteng, with its campus at Unit 3, Elevation Gardens, 114 Augrabies Road, Waterfall Office Park, Vorna Valley. It describes itself as one of South Africa's only private higher-education institutions focused exclusively on engineering, delivering programmes via industry-based lecturers combined with online technologies such as remote and virtual labs, simulation software, and live-streamed lectures.
