Overview

Eskom funds engineering, IT and related science/commerce students at South African universities and universities of technology, covering full study costs and a stipend, with graduates typically taking up roles within Eskom afterward.

What it covers

Full tuition and registration fees, accommodation and meals, prescribed textbooks, a monthly stipend, a laptop allowance, vacation work and mentorship

Eligibility

South African citizens who have completed Matric with at least Level 4 in English and Level 5 in Mathematics and Physical Science, and who have (or are working toward) conditional acceptance at a recognised South African university or university of technology. Applicants may not hold another concurrent bursary. Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply; preference given to designated Employment Equity groups.

Certified ID copy, Grade 11 and matric results, matric certificate, proof of university acceptance, plus any documents requested via the online portal
