Nedbank Bursary

Overview

The Nedbank External Bursary Programme, funded through the Nedbank Educational Trust, supports academically deserving South African students with financial need who are pursuing first undergraduate degrees in STEM and green-economy fields.

What it covers

Tuition fees, accommodation, textbooks and study materials, plus mentorship, internships and vacation work opportunities within Nedbank

Eligibility

South African citizens with demonstrated financial need based on household income; minimum 65% average in subjects aligned to the intended degree; Mathematics (not Mathematical Literacy) required; must have, or be working toward, admission to a South African public university or university of technology for a first undergraduate degree/diploma

Required documents

Certified ID copy, recent academic transcripts/results, signed financial-need affidavit; shortlisted applicants must also submit certified income documents, payslips and bank statements
