Overview

The Allan Gray Orbis Foundation Fellowship identifies high-potential Grade 12 learners and fully or partially funds their undergraduate studies at partner universities, alongside a long-term programme of entrepreneurial development, mentorship and personal mastery.

What it covers

Full funding (tuition, accommodation, meals, textbooks, a tutoring allowance and a monthly stipend) for households earning up to R1 million per annum, with needs-based funding above that threshold; also includes entrepreneurial development support, mentoring and a selection camp beyond the financial award

Eligibility

South African citizens in Grade 12 in the application year, under 21 years old, minimum 70% average in Grade 11 (excluding Life Orientation), minimum 60% in Pure Mathematics or 80% in Mathematical Literacy, intending to study an approved field at one of the Foundation's partner universities (including UCT, Wits, UP, SU, UJ, UFS, UKZN, UWC, NMU, RU and TSiBA)

Who Can Apply
