Overview

Investec offers full-cost bursaries to students who are currently in Grade 12 or their first year of tertiary study, aiming to study full-time towards an undergraduate degree in fields relevant to the financial services sector, including Commerce, Business Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Commercial LLB and Medicine (MBChB).

Bursaries are awarded on merit and financial need for studies at select South African public universities. No bursaries are available for private tertiary institutions.

The programme is administered by StudyTrust on behalf of Investec.

Who Can Apply

South African citizen, currently in Grade 12 or first year of university
Minimum 60% average, with at least 70% in Mathematics and 70% English FAL (or 65% English HL) for matriculants
Above 60% average in first-semester exams (60% minimum in each STEM subject) for first-year applicants
Only public university study is funded

Commerce, Business Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Commercial LLB and Medicine (MBChB)

What the Bursary Covers

Full-cost bursary covering tuition and related study costs for the approved qualification at a select South African public university

Certified South African ID
Latest academic results or progress report
Official Matric / NSC results (if completed)
Proof of parental/guardian income, or relevant sworn affidavits where applicable
