Capricorn TVET College in Limpopo was formed from three predecessor institutions with different histories: the Northern Province Community College, Bochum College of Education, and the former Pietersburg Technical College, following adoption of the FET Act of 1996. It operates four campuses — Polokwane (main administrative and academic hub), Seshego, Ramokgopa and Senwabarwana — serving the Capricorn District and surrounding rural areas of Limpopo. The college describes itself as offering vocational, occupational and skills training programmes providing scarce and critical skills with good employment prospects, and states that all its programmes are nationally accredited.
