EF (Education First) operates an English-language school in Cape Town, trading as EF International Language Campus, which opened in November 2006. The campus was originally located on Kloof Street in the Gardens heritage district and, as of June 2026, relocated to a new purpose-built facility at 7 West Quay, V&A Waterfront, Cape Town, to mark its 20th anniversary. It specialises in English-language instruction for foreign students of all levels (beginner to advanced), across age bands from teenagers through adults and seniors, combining classroom tuition with homestay accommodation and cultural activities. The Cape Town campus is accredited by Eaquals (Evaluation and Accreditation of Quality in Language Services), is a Cambridge English exam centre, and is a member of EDUSA (Education South Africa). No evidence was found on EF's own site of registration with South Africa's Council on Higher Education (CHE) or the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET), consistent with its status as a short-course language provider rather than a formal qualification-granting higher education institution.
