Maharishi Invincibility Institute (MII), formerly known as Maharishi Institute, is a non-profit educational institution based in Johannesburg, South Africa (Marshalltown / Ntemi Piliso Street), housed in a building donated by Anglo American plc. Established in 2007, MII offers 'Consciousness-Based Education' (CBE), incorporating the Transcendental Meditation technique and daily yoga practice alongside academic and vocational training, and operates as part of the global Maharishi network of schools with a formal partnership linking students to Maharishi International University (MIU) in the United States. MII is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET No. 2021/FE07/11) and also holds a Department of Basic Education registration (700400269) for its high school. It is accredited to deliver qualifications through several SETAs, including Services SETA, MICT SETA, INSETA, BANKSETA, FASSET SETA, and W&R SETA, and offers QCTO-registered Occupational Certificates. The institute focuses on skills-to-work education for youth, reporting an average 95% graduate job placement rate and over 19,000-24,000 graduates placed in careers spanning finance, banking, advertising, technology, and management consulting since inception. It also owns Business Skills Institute (BSI) and co-owns Digital Youth ICT Academy with Afrika Tikkun.
