Northlink College, based in Cape Town's northern suburbs, was established in 2002 when South Africa's technical colleges were reformed into the new FET system: Wingfield Technical College (with Wingfield, Goodwood and Table Bay campuses), Tygerberg College (Tygerberg and Parow), Protea College and Bellville Technical College merged to form a single institution. In 2005 Northlink also acquired Belhar College, previously a private institution. The college now operates seven campuses — Belhar, Bellville, Goodwood, Parow, Protea, Tygerberg and Wingfield — and its site states it offers 70+ accredited courses. It was voted Best NCV College in both 2018 and 2019, and its site cites a 90% graduate rate.
