SACAP (South African College of Applied Psychology) is an independent private higher education institution headquartered in Cape Town, South Africa, with additional campuses in Johannesburg, Pretoria and Durban, as well as online study options. Founded in 1997, SACAP focuses on applied psychology, counselling, coaching and related social sciences. It is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) as a Private Higher Education Institution under section 54(1)(c) of the Higher Education Act, 1997, with Registration Certificate Number 2005/HE07/001. Its qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE) and registered on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA).
