Tshwane South TVET College (TSC) was formed in 2001 through the merger of the former Atteridgeville, Centurion and Pretoria West Technical Colleges (gazetted in Notice 7311, Gazette No. 240 of December 2001). It gained a fourth campus, Odi, in 2006 when provincial boundaries were rezoned and the campus transferred from Orbit TVET College. TSC operates four campuses in Tshwane, Gauteng: Atteridgeville, Centurion, Pretoria West and Odi (Mabopane area), with a central office in Pretoria. As a public DHET-registered college its mandate is to equip young people with vocational and occupationally directed skills. NOTE: the official website (www.tsc.edu.za) was unreachable during this research (DNS resolves but the server does not respond/connect), so figures such as current student numbers could not be independently verified from the primary source.
