Overview
This free Oracle University learning path prepares you for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2025 AI Foundations Associate certification (exam 1Z0-1122-25). It combines a structured AI Foundations course with a practice exam and an exam-prep lesson, walking through core AI concepts and workloads, machine learning and deep learning terminology, and the different types of learning (supervised, unsupervised, reinforcement). It also covers generative AI and large language model fundamentals, including prompt engineering and fine-tuning, plus deep learning architectures such as neural networks, CNNs, RNNs, and autoencoders, with applications in image processing and NLP.
Later modules connect the theory to Oracle’s own stack, introducing the OCI AI Portfolio, OCI Generative AI service, Oracle Database 23ai’s AI capabilities, and OCI’s prebuilt AI services.
The path has no prerequisites: no prior AI/ML knowledge or coding experience is required, making it suitable for complete beginners exploring AI as a career direction as well as IT professionals who want a vendor-recognized credential. Completing it and passing the exam earns the OCI AI Foundations Associate certification.
