STADIO (Pty) Ltd, trading as STADIO Higher Education, is a registered private higher education institution in South Africa, registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training under the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Registration Number 2008/HE07/004). It was formed on 26 October 2020 through the consolidation of four brands with a combined history of over 100 years – Southern Business School, Embury Institute for Higher Education, LISOF and Prestige Academy – into a single registered institution. STADIO (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of STADIO Holdings Limited, a company listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE: SDO). STADIO Holdings originated from Curro Holdings' 2013 acquisition of Embury and was separately listed on the JSE in October 2017. Besides STADIO (Pty) Ltd, STADIO Holdings also owns Milpark Education and AFDA, which continue to operate under their own brands, campuses and management teams. STADIO offers programmes through contact, distance and blended learning across eight academic schools (Administration & Management, Commerce, Education, Engineering & Architecture, Fashion, Arts & Design, Information Technology, Law, and Policing & Law Enforcement), with campuses in Centurion, Durbanville, Musgrave (Durban) and Waterfall, plus support centres including in Namibia. The institution reports offering over 50 accredited programmes and serving tens of thousands of students nationally.
