Overview

Sage South Africa supports continuous studying for youth as part of skills development and empowerment, providing previously disadvantaged youth and youth living with disabilities with financial support to study at public universities.

The bursary considers undergraduate studies in IT, Accounting and Computer Sciences, with an exception made for students with disabilities to include all other fields of study. The bursary prioritises students with disabilities.

The programme is administered by StudyTrust on behalf of Sage.

Who Can Apply

South African citizen and a Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI)
Admitted to a public higher education institution
Family income between R350,000 and R600,000 per year
Current pass rate of 65% or above (lower threshold considered for students with disabilities)

Supported Study Fields

Information Technology, Accounting and Computer Science (Bachelor of Commerce specialising in Accounting and Finance); all fields considered for applicants with disabilities

Tuition fees and historical study debt (current fees)
