Overview
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Skills Development Bursary offers full-cost bursaries to students aiming to study full-time towards an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in fields relevant to the technology sector, including Commerce, Business Science, Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology.
The bursary prioritises students with a disability, LEAP Science and Maths Schools alumni, and former AWS interns.
The programme is administered by StudyTrust on behalf of Amazon Web Services.
Who Can Apply
Minimum 65% for Mathematics and 65% for English (HL or FAL) in Matric
Overall tertiary average above 65%
Priority given to students with disabilities, LEAP Science and Maths Schools alumni, and former AWS interns
Supported Study Fields
Commerce, Business Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Mechatronics/Civil Engineering, Education (Maths and Science specialisation), and Medicine
