Chatsmed Candlelight Nursing School was established in 1997 and is a private nursing education institution registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC, reference S1520) as a legacy Private Nursing Education Institution, also referenced by DHET. Its primary campus is in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, with the school's own website also listing Stanger, Mthatha and Eshowe campuses, though only the Durban campus is confirmed via SANC's institution register.
