Gauteng CET College (Gauteng Community Education and Training College) is a public community education and training institution operating under South Africa's Department of Higher Education and Training. Like the country's other eight CET colleges, it was formed when previously separate provincial Community Learning Centres (formerly known as Adult Learning Centres / ABET centres) were consolidated into a single public college under the Continuing Education and Training Act, 2006, following the 2019 nationwide establishment of CET colleges; the college's own website confirms it was 'previously known as ABET' but does not state an exact founding date. It serves youth and adults who did not complete school or never attended school across five Gauteng municipal areas – City of Johannesburg, City of Tshwane, City of Ekurhuleni, Sedibeng and West Rand – through 47 Community Learning Centres and 267 satellite centres, with about 71,486 students enrolled (2024) and roughly 1,680 lecturers. Its stated vision is to be the 'institution of choice driving social change' through community education and training.
