Amazon SageMaker AI Getting Started

Overview

Amazon SageMaker AI Getting Started is a short, introductory course on AWS Skill Builder that gives learners a first look at Amazon SageMaker AI, AWS’s platform for building, training, and deploying machine learning models. Rather than covering the full breadth of the service, it works through a straightforward example of using SageMaker AI notebooks, showing how a general machine learning workload is set up and run inside the platform.

It is aimed at people who are new to machine learning on AWS — developers, data scientists, and cloud practitioners who want an entry point into SageMaker AI before tackling more advanced, hands-on Skill Builder courses such as SageMaker JumpStart Foundations or SageMaker Unified Studio Foundations. No prior SageMaker experience is assumed.

By the end, learners come away with a basic orientation to the SageMaker AI notebook environment and a concrete sense of how a simple ML workload moves through the service, laying the groundwork for deeper, project-based SageMaker training.
