North West CET College is the public Community Education and Training (CET) college for the North West province, one of South Africa's nine provincial CET colleges established under the Continuing Education and Training Act 16 of 2006 (with the Department of Higher Education and Training reporting the CET college system came into being on 1 April 2015, absorbing the former Community Learning Centres/Adult Learning Centres network). It is headquartered in Mafikeng and delivers second-chance basic and further education to youth and adults through a network of Community Learning Centres (CLCs) and their satellite centres located across North West, in areas including Atamelang, Dinokana Village, Ikageng, Madidi, Mahikeng, Mathibestad, Mogwase, Pella Village, Rustenburg and Taung. It offers Adult Education and Training (AET), a National/Amended Senior Certificate (Matric equivalent) pathway, and various skills programmes, with classes generally run in the evenings or on weekends for working learners.
