Edutel Higher Education (Pty) Ltd is the private higher education arm of the Edutel Holdings group, a South African education and training provider founded in the early 1990s by Andries Pelser. Edutel Higher Education is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as a private higher education institution under the Higher Education Act, 1997 (Registration Certificate No. 2017/HE07/001, valid until 31 December 2027), and its qualifications are accredited by the Council on Higher Education (CHE/HEQC) and registered with SAQA on the National Qualifications Framework.
