Goldfields TVET College was established in 2002 through the merger of the former Tosa Technical College and Welkom College, taking its name from the Free State goldfields region. Its central office and Welkom Campus are based in Flamingo Park, Welkom, with a second campus, Tosa Campus (Thabong, about 12km from Welkom), and a Reatlehile satellite campus in Virginia/Meloding roughly 22km away. The college also runs a Skills and Innovation Centre and a Centre for Entrepreneurship (CFE) offering incubation and business support. It serves the Matjhabeng, Tokologo, Masilonyana, Nala and Tswelopele local municipalities in the Lejweleputswa District. No published student enrolment total was found.
